Jason Rudolph
A hands-on software developer and systems administrator who takes projects from the first conversation through to production and ongoing operation.
When you work with Up To Code, you work directly with Jason—the person understanding the problem, building the solution and looking after the infrastructure behind it.
The path here
Built from curiosity and real problems.
Jason started his journey in 2020 while working with computer systems at Amazon. It began with simple automation: relays, sensors and integrations built around Home Assistant.
From there, he began self-hosting applications such as Jellyfin and Nextcloud. Running those systems led naturally into Linux administration, networking, backups and security—and then into building websites and full applications to solve problems that existing tools could not.
He went on to develop several software-as-a-service businesses and partnerships, gaining practical experience in what it takes to turn an idea into dependable software used in the real world.
